The label “Cybersecurity Made In Europe” improves the visibility of cybersecurity companies from Europe not only on the European but also on the global market. Sixteen European associations have been authorised by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and issue the label primarily to small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. eurobits e.V. is the only German awarding body so far. What is the ECSO label “Cybersecurity Made In Europe”?

The label “Cybersecurity Made In Europe” raises awareness of the value of companies that come from Europe and whose business is based on reliable as well as trustworthy European values. From a strategic point of view, the label makes an important contribution to achieving a core objective: enhancing European digital autonomy.

What can I use the label for?

The label “Cybersecurity Made In Europe” serves as a marketing tool and helps European cybersecurity companies to stand out from the crowd. For example, companies can use the label on their homepage, on sales documents and in general communication (letters, mails, etc.).

What requirements do I have to fulfil?

The essential prerequisites for your company to receive the “Cybersecurity Made In Europe” label are:

Where can I apply and what else do I need to consider?

You can apply directly via this online form.

Otherwise, we will be happy to send you all application forms by e-mail upon request. As soon as you have received the forms from us, fill them out completely and prove, for example, by means of a corresponding official extract (e.g. extract from the commercial register) that your headquarters are located in Germany or Europe. An on-site check by eurobits e.V. or the ECSO will not take place.

If your company headquarters are not in Germany, you can contact a partner in your country or apply directly to eurobits e.V. regardless.

 

How long is the label valid?

A label issued is always valid for twelve months.

What are the costs for the label?

There are different pricing structures for the initial issuance of the “Cybersecurity Made In Europe” label and its renewal:

  • Members of eurobits e.V. pay 300 euros each for the initial application as well as for each renewal of the contract.
  • Companies that are not members of eurobits e.V. pay 750 euros for the initial application and 600 euros for each contract renewal.

All prices exclude VAT.

Members of eurobits e.V. include internationally recognised research institutes, globally active companies and promising start-ups.
