ISEB - Institut für Sicherheit im E-Business

The ISEB pursues the goal of researching the business and economic implications of security in e-business as well as information security in companies and public institutions.

The focus is on economic analyses and organisational design tasks, which are always embedded in the interdisciplinary context of information security. Examples are information risk and information security management or questions of information security and trust in online commerce.

The participation of economists, computer scientists, social scientists and lawyers at the ISEB, as well as the embedding in the Horst Görtz Institute for Information Security (HGI), takes into account the need for interdisciplinary research from the very beginning. Cooperation with other faculties as well as with other national and international research institutions and companies is actively pursued.
