The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and eurobits e.V. – European Competence Centre for Information Technology Security (Bochum) have the pleasure of inviting you to the 8th edition of the Cyber Investor Days, scheduled on 30 November – 1 December 2020 in Bochum, Germany.
Despite the challenging times, the most promising European cybersecurity startups and SMEs will have a chance to pitch their innovative solutions and hold B2B meetings with the leading investors and corporates from Europe and beyond. In addition, two best cybersecurity companies participating at the 8th Cyber Investor Days will be nominated to compete for the European Cybersecurity STARtup Award. 8th Cyber Investor Days will be organised as a hybrid event, allowing physical (in-person) and virtual (remote) attendance. Participants will receive further information closer to the event date.
FOR STARTUPS & SMEs. To be selected for the pitches and B2B meetings, European cybersecurity startups and SMEs are invited to submit their applications to ECSO for evaluation and selection. More information about the application process can be found in the application guidelines, available here (PDF file). Make sure to apply before the DEADLINE: Sunday, 25 October 2020, midnight CET.
FOR INVESTORS & CORPORATES. Interested corporates and investors from Europe and beyond are invited to register their attendance here.
The last edition of the ECSO Cyber Investor Days took place on 13-14 May 2020 and was organised as an all-virtual event. It proved to be a great success – the record number of investors and corporates attended the event, around 150 virtual B2B meetings were held.

About ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days
ECSO cybersecurity business matchmaking events – also known as the ECSO Cyber Investor Days – are designed to cover different investment phases, ranging from seeding to strategic investment and M&A, as well as to support companies positioned on the entire cybersecurity value chain. The initiative aims to increase the visibility of the European cybersecurity market players and to foster the consolidation of the European cybersecurity market.
Launched in 2017, ECSO cybersecurity business matchmaking events gathered more than 450 participants and provided a forum for more than 450 business-to-business meetings. Previous editions were organised with the most recognised players of the European cybersecurity ecosystem: Startup Estonia, Systematic Paris-Region, secunet Security Networks AG, TeleTrust – IT Security Association Germany, the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), the SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the cybersecurity agency of the Ministry of the Economy of Luxembourg and twice the EIT Digital Accelerator.
