Nadine Nagel has been working in the IT environment for over 20 years and spent 15 years in various positions at IBM. In her last position at IBM, as Chief Information Security Officer and member of the management board of an IBM subsidiary, she headed the security division for the modernization and operation of the non-military IT infrastructure of the German Armed Forces.
From 2017 to 2020, Nadine Nagel was a member of the management board of a medium-sized European technology company and an independent cybersecurity consultant. Most recently, she switched from business to public administration and headed the “Cybersecurity for Business and Society” department at the Federal Office for Information Security.
Nadine Nagel is involved in various advisory boards and committees as well as think tanks on cyber security topics. She holds a degree in industrial engineering and has conducted research on digital security at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society.
