With Germany’s largest educational programs in IT security\, a world-class research environment\, and a vibrant start-up and investor community\, Bochum provides the leading ecosystem for security start-ups in Europe. \nThe first IT-Security-Pitch last November has been a great success for all participants. This is why the WORLDFACTORY and the Horst Görtz Institute for IT-Security (HGI) are organizing a second IT-Security-Pitch on October 5\, 2017 to bring university-start-ups and IT-Security students together with potential investors and leading security specialists from academia and the industry.  The Pitch will take place at the Universitätsforum (UFO). \nYoung start-ups present themselves to innovative companies and an experienced jury to take their company to the next level.
